VERONICA TOY
Veronica graduated from the competency-based, mastery-level program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy and holds her Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. She has completed her level 3 Fascial Stretch Therapy training, through The Stretch to Win Institute in Tempe, Arizona and is continuously upgrading her courses and expanding her knowledge in the field.
Growing up as a competitive gymnast, Veronica is very familiar with the importance of strength, flexibility and maintaining a healthy body. From a young age, she learned to incorporate conditioning, stretching and massage into sports and daily activities.
Her hope and mission is to provide the knowledge she has gained through experience and formal education to help facilitate people to feel empowered to be healthy and active. She enjoys treating patients not only to help them through the strains of their day but also to help them recover and excel in their sport performance.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Veronica at the gym enjoying her new-found sport of powerlifting or being creative by redecorating her living space or trying to make her own soap! She enjoys all seasons that Vancouver has to offer but also likes to travel and experience different cultures whenever possible.
Treatment style: Deep tissue massage, trigger point release, fascial stretch therapy, restorative range of motion, muscle activation, collaborative treatment with other health care practitioners.
